These collections are the work of ancient arts of hand-weaving and traditional handicraft of the Chams, an indigenous group, whose ancestors had built along the central coast of Vietnam a series of religious edifices — the Cham Towers.
The Cham people are matriarchal society in which women inherit all property. They are also known for their beautiful textiles, these fabrics come in a dazzling colours and motifs created from artistic and ritual traditions.
