Cire Trudon’s complex scents have been developed from the magnificent stories surrounding the company's history. Resurrected from it’s birth in 1643 when salesman Claude Trudon arrives in Paris and soon becomes the owner of a shop on Rue Saint-Honore supplying customers with wax, candles for churches and homes. Claude’s son Jacques takes over as Louise XIV ascends to the thrones and joins the royal court in 1687 as apothecary and distiller of Queen Maire-Therese.
Burn a scent which transports you to a dream-like state; the Versailles palaces that these candles once burned in which fragranced the Royal court (and boudoirs) of Louis XIVth along with the greatest churches and cathedrals of France.
